Hey Folks!

Before I get started on my daily workload, I wanted to post this piece I've been working on for Comics Now! #5 which has a "Black Heroes in Comics" theme. Kevin Grevioux and I cooked up the idea of doing the evolutionary chart, but with the timeline of prominent/significant black heroes throughout comics.
Although the final image may not have as many characters ( we couldn't decide who to add), I think we selected a pretty good group.

Can you name everyone? ;)

I agree, I think Static would have made a wonderful addition to the line up, especially because of his exposure in the cartoon.

Dead on, Greg!!! I won't even bust your chops about "Some Guy" because I didn't even know about that character. Let's just say that he only appeared once ( i think), but that appearance was pretty big.

this brings so many to mind...Bishop, John Stewart's Green Lantern, Storm, Spawn, Blade, etc. Any chance we will get to see a grand collection of all our black supers standing together?!

If I keep getting feedback like this about all my favorite black superheroes...I think I am going to have to do a cool pinup of them all ;)
