I have several practice sketches of him I have been doodling for the Kumite Cover challenge over at the Studio YSR message Boards...but I decided to go ahead and tighten this one up...I guess I was getting into the character and just couldn't let go
It's been mentioned that some folks would like to see me do Nightwing on a monthly basis. That's pretty flattering...I just hope that I do him jusice. I will also be doing 3 sequential Nightwing pages for a Penciljack challenge. I NORMALY don't do challenges because i am pretty busy, but the sequential challenges are rare and worth the practice. Plus, I couldn't pass up the subject matter!
This is a beauty. Even since I saw that pic of Jersey Devil hell BEFORE that even . . . ever since that pic of Rayven in the old Comix matrix days I knew you'd do a kick ass Nightwing.
Easily one of the BEST pics you've done of a character that doesn't belong to you.
If you were inclined to . . . and as I'm sure I've suggested before . . . you should do some Nightwing samples. If they're like this and those old YJ pages . . . you're in.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
