WTF?!?!?!

Journal Entry: Sun Jun 28, 2009, 2:35 PM
You guys don't know this, but as of Thursday I have decided to take some time off and get away from the internet so that I can get the first issue of RPM done (among other things). Then, Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon dies. I was going to pop on and comment about that, but decided not to. Not more than a few hours pass and Micheal freakin' Jackson dies!! I had to comment about that because I started reading some posts all over MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook that really got to me...in a bad way! Now, Billy Mays dies?!?!?! What the f#$^&, man?!?! Is there some sort of celebrity hit list being played out that the general public was unaware of? Someone wrote on Facebook that it's been like 9-11 for celebrities. I TOTALLY believe that now. Final Destination: Celebrity Edition!!

I'll miss Billy Mays. I would have bought anything Billy was selling, man. Also, I just got into his new show "Pitchmen" and now this shit happens?!?

Something tells me the celebrity deaths may not be over for this year just yet.

Shit, man. I'm going back to the drawing table right now and I am never looking up again. :(

It all started with Bea Arthur ... then David Carradine. :(

Phyllis Diller died.
But, the problem is that either, no one could notice the difference, or, those who could tell didn't have the heart to tell her and spoil her retirement.

I agree with the top poster... I will always remember Billy's most popular line..
"You shut your whore mouth when Billy Mays is talking!!" ...sniff...classic...

On a serious note. It really sucks that he as well as so many others seem to be biting the dust all of a sudden! What the hell is going on? Within days of each other too? GAH!! I sincerely hope there are no more deaths! This is getting ridiculous!

I totally agree. I just got off of work when I got on the train I heard people talking about MJ and I couldn't believe it. When I got home I had a ton of IMs and emails saying the same thing. It's still a little weird to think about. MJ was a big part of my childhood from Thriller on and whatever people want to say about his later troubles and mental issues, I still think he was one of the greatest performers of our time and one of the greatest dancers of all time period. I mean up there with Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers, and Fred Astaire. He's one of those artists that goes underappreciated until he's gone. Then, you look back and, for me, I'm just like, "DAMN!"

I'll say also that he was one of those artists that was so optimistic about the human race and its potential and truly did not understand why we were not achieving what we could as a global society. In that regard, he was genuine and sincere and that's very rare in his industry. Especially nowadays.

MJ will be missed.

I wonder if Billy Mays really died from a slight bump on the head from that rough plane landing or if it was something else. I honestly look forward to seeing what the autopsy says.

I'm in total shock about the amount of celebrities who have died.

I mean first Ed(but for the record he did live a long full life), I was sad that Ferrah ultimately lost her fight with cancer, but I wasn't shocked. I learned they had died on Thursday, Then I got home from work and I was absolutely shocked that Micheal Jackson had died. I honestly thought it was some kind of sick joke. I mean, I really couldn't ever picture him as living to be 80, in my mind I'd always see him as 30 something.

Then, I walk in to my brother's house, and he tells me Billy Mays died... I thought he was just being a jerk and joking. I'm also shocked to learn it was true... By hitting his head in a plane accident. Didn't Billy's father also die in a plane accident?
:iconkurisutin:
lmfao, That IS funny.
